Line Planning: Export LNW¶
NOTE: When selecting a layer in an ArcMap tool it operates on the SELECTION - so you can intentionally OR ACCIDENTALLY choose a subset of lines/polygons to work with.
Recall the lines produced from the Line Planning: Numbering tool:

Run the Export Lines to Hypack LNW tool. The input dialog show below will appear. Choose a layer for export. Choose a LNW file to create with the exported positions and line numbering. You can then select to export either and existing column (like “LineNumber” that the Number Survey Lines tool made) or create plain integer numbers.

The resulting file will look similar to below and can be imported into Hypack. Using the prefix/suffix should allow flexibility so you don’t have to play numbering games between 100% and 200% naming. Just call them 100_XXX and 200_XXX but you still have the flexibility to number lines however you wish.
