Velocipy
Velocipy is the python translation of Velocwin and the Velocity program. It’s purpose is largely to reformat data from CTDs into Caris, NODC and other formatted datasets. Further, Velocipy is used for quality assurance supplying functions to compare casts and can plot cast data as well as display error wedges computed from multiple casts.
Velocipy is often used with Seabird CTDs and requires the Seabird Data Conversion program to be installed.
